Rainbow by Mademoiselle Maurice Illuminates the Streets with Origami

Mademoiselle Maurice is a French street artist who creates stunning murals of paper origami along city streets and buildings.

There’s only so much architectural structures can do. Sure, it’s aesthetically pleasing but it has become so prevalent that when an artist puts a simple touch of unexpected art on city infrastructures, it instantly becomes spectacular.

Mademoiselle Maurice’s ‘Rainbow’ installation illuminates the mundane gray walls that are quite bland. Instead of using graffiti spray paint or other commonly used paints to create this luminous art work, the artist folds paper origami and when clustered together, forms a beautiful wave of rainbow. In the video, viewers can see Mademoiselle Maurice nonchalantly plaster the street walls to create eye-catching art.
