Originally launched late last year, the real estate developer, David Belt, behind the project plans on expanding it to become a network of five connected dorms in New York and Europe under a brand new name.
Belt comments, "Most people build student housing and they want to build it as cheaply as possible and the furniture to be as rugged as possible, because they think that students will wreck it. I don't think that." Through the Macro Sea dorms, young adults will be able to experience a significant shift in student lifestyle. The next resident building will be popping up in Barcelona, Spain.
