MAC Cosmetics Debuts a Nourishing Skincare and Makeup Prep Line

MAC Cosmetics is launching a new ‘Hyper Real’ skincare line inspired by the brand’s "deep understanding of skin care in relation to makeup." The ‘Hyper Real’ lineup features three unique products that help prep and prepare the skin for makeup application without irritating sensitive areas or causing breakouts. The line features the ‘Hyper Real Fresh Canvas Cleansing Oil,’ the ‘Hyper Real Serumizer Skin Balancing Hydration Serum,’ and the ‘Hyper Real SkinCanvas Balm Moisturizing Cream.’

Advertised as "science-backed, makeup artist-approved," ‘Hyper Real’ contains hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, ceramides, and Japanese peony extract to promote healthy, vibrant skin while accommodating any makeup products applied on top.

"I love how all three products provide instant smoothness on their own, but when they are combined together, it’s magical!" said Rumiko Ikeda Harris, MAC senior artist, Japan. "For drier skin types or skin that needs an extra boost of soothing hydration, I like to blend Hyper Real SkinCanvas Balm on top of Hyper Real Serumizer."
