The Mab Graves Art Exhibit was tantalizingly eerie as Graves, who is inspired by old Victorian style portraits, added a grim surreal twist to her paintings.
The exhibit was a double feature with two shows: 'The Adventures of Harlow, the Raven King, and Several Possums' and 'The Super Show.'
With the subject of her paintings young girls, the portraits emanate a certain dark, mysterious and grim vibe that is sure to give the viewers bone-chilling pleasure. However, if looked at closely, the portraits also have an element of sweetness to them (though personally, I would not like to have one of these hanging on my wall!).
