M. Cohen's Jewelry is Earthy and Worn by the Stars

Los Angeles-based M. Cohen is a producer of hand-made, one-of-a-kind jewelery pieces. M. Cohen grew up in Israel, working at a small beading shop in his beach-side town. When M. Cohen began making his own designs at the boutique, the owner allowed M. Cohen to begin selling his designs to customers who noticed his skill and eye for detail in jewelry making.

Today, M. Cohen has his new line on Karmaloop.com. Additionally, it is available throughout the United States and abroad. The line is unique in that it uses beautiful natural materials. Most bracelets use real leather straps or other naturally tough, durable substitutes, and most hardware and beading is made of rare natural material. Take for example the Black Pearl bracelet by M. Cohen (pictured here) with a brown leather strap designed to circle the wrist at least three times. M Cohen designed the piece keeping in mind the beauty of the natural mineral -- there is no flashy, tacky, synthetic material to distract from the piece's atural beauty. M. Cohen's designs have a tendency to be masculine, but that is not to say that they are not unisex. What is masculine about the jewelery is M. Cohen's tendency to use deep, earthy colors to keep each piece timeless.

M. Cohen's pieces have been seen on the red carpet, sported by names like Johnny Depp and Charlize Theron, and are sure to explode as he finds his niche in the City of Angels. Every season the M. Cohen collection gets more refined, and this new collection is no exception.
