The Scallop Watch by Michael Graves Boasts Engraved Curved Patterns

Architect Michael Graves' Scallop luxe timepiece offers consumers a watch that makes use of curved patterns in a unique and refreshing way, while retaining a minimalistic aesthetic. The watch features a stylish brown leather band complete with a face that is filled with curved symmetrical shapes in the guiloché technique.

The Scallop watch makes use of delicate and professional jewellery engraving styles known as guillloché that was once reserved for creating Faberge eggs. The style uses symmetrical curved lines to create a rippled interlocking effect using a fine metal engraver. The watch's face is a light teal coloring complete with scalloped guilloché that is left clean and simple without the use of numbers. Silver and read hands are used to tell the time while a second scalloped silver perimeter completes the timepiece.
