Although I've decided long ago that simple dishes were the way to go, for me at least, the LUNE Dinnerware set put this stand to the test. Not only am I a fan of Asian cuisine, I am a huge fan of simple, quaint designs that add character to an object. I am also easily bored of such gimmicky designs, yet the LUNE Dinnerware doesn't seem like something I could get sick of.
Designed by Christine Lieu, the LUNE Dinnerware actually has a goal behind it other than its aesthetic appeal. It is specifically made for elderly Asians in Western-styled old age homes to give them a sense of familiarity and hopefully comfort.
