Luna Display Can Now Turn Another Mac into a Secondary Display

Luna Display is a hardware solution that allows an iPad to be turned into a second display for a Mac Computer. The company recently announced that its hardware will soon be able to turn another Mac computer into a secondary display, instead of an iPad. Luna Display CEO Matt Ronge stated that the new function is a response to Apple's Sidecar feature.

In order to operate the new feature, a person will need two Mac computers, and either a USB-C or Mini DisplayPort dongle from Luna Display -- both of which are priced at $69.99. The main computer will need to be operating on macOS 10.11 or a later edition, and the other computer will need to be running macOS 10.8 or higher.

The new feature provides consumers with a much cheaper alternative to purchasing a new monitor.
