Luca Nichetto Created a Fragrance Line for Ginori 1735

Luca Nichetto created a line of history-inspired home fragrances for the heritage company Ginori 1735. The Italian designer looked back into the brand's history to inspire its newest range of products.

The collection is titled La Compagnia di Caterina. It gets its name from the story of Catherine de Medici, who moved from Florence to France with a perfumer. At the time, there was no fragrance culture in France. Catherine de Medici was, in a sense, a pioneer of the industry.

The range includes scented candles, candle snuffers, incense burners, and room diffusers. Three fragrances are available through the collection. Orange Renaissance boasts a rich blend of bergamot, while Black Stone features notes of cloves and nutmeg. Finally, Purple Hill is a light floral scent with lavender and white flowers.
