Charitable Valentine's Shakes

Shake Shack's 'Love Shack Shake' Supports People and Assistance Dogs

For a limited time around Valentine's Day this year, Shake Shack is selling the limited-edition 'Love Shack Shake' in Atlanta, Los Angeles and New York City. The pink-hued, glitter-topped shake gets its name from the B-52s' 'Love Shack' and promotes an amiable cause.

The B-52s played a part in the creation of the strawberry blonde milkshake, with Kate Pierson noting: "We’re shakin’ with excitement to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the Love Shack Shake and even more excited to support the great work of Canine Companions for Independence."

For each Love Shack Shake sold, Shake Shack will be donating $2 to Canine Companions for Independence, an non-profit organization that pairs assistance dogs with adults, children and veterans with disabilities, free of charge. Although there are plenty of special Valentine's Day product promotions centered around romantic love, this offering reminds of the simple, undemanding love that pets require.
