The brand-new Louis Vuitton Resort 2019 collection made its debut recently at the Maeght Foundation museum of modern art located in Southern France. Notably, this luxe launch also marks Nicolas Ghesquière‘s fifth cruise capsule for the fashion house. This summer, Louis Vuitton took a more carefree approach that incorporated an 80s eclecticism blended with signature branding motifs. This resulted in contrasting visual elements such as sharp angular shoulders with fluffy silks, loud metallics with a plethora of pattern designs, cool-toned neutrals with kaleidoscopic colors and bohemian prints amongst the traditional "LV" monogram design.
