Detergent Bottle Lighting

The Loto Lamp is Inspired by Lotus Flowers

I would never have guessed that the Loto lamp was fashioned out of discarded detergent bottles. Gracefully shaped as the lotus flower each is inspired by, there is no hint of the big, bulky containers anywhere. Considering that I'm an avid Tide user, I didn't even realize how many different colors these detergent bottles were available in.

Created by El Salvador-born designer Eugenio Menjivar, the Loto lamp is not simply another eco-friendly project. Menjivar hopes that through these stunning designs, people can see that beautiful creations can be fashioned from discarded materials.
