Crystal Clear Layout Stations

The Los Angeles Union Station Updates Make Directions More Evident

Proposals for the development of the Los Angeles Union Station have been underway for quite some time now, but the plans should be starting soon. The design was done by Grimshaw Architects along with Gruen Associates, with the aim of making the station better to navigate.

There's nothing worse than running late for one's train, only to get lost upon entering the station. With a more open floor plan and directions that are clearly marked in intuitive areas, the designers behind this station hope to solve these issues. Moreover, the new plan has far bigger sections for people to relax and mingle while waiting for their transportation. This way people can have somewhere to enjoy before heading on, instead of sitting uncomfortably in a stuffy waiting room and feeling irritated. Photo Credits: designboom, grimshaw-architects
