The Loewe Spring Men's Collection Features a Cultural Aesthetic

Cartoonish and fun, the Loewe Spring '16 Men's Collection is all about visual representation. Inspired by an 18th century screen from Japan, creative director Johnathan Anderson developed a collection that fashionably describes a cultural juxtaposition of historic and modern style.

Anderson said that he wants "luxury to be fun." A true understatement by the looks of this collection, the Loewe Spring ‘16 line exhibits exciting fashions including Japanese lettering doodled atop rigid denim, playful terry-cloth accessories and pajama-like knit tunics.

Alongside the kitschy designs are classic Loewe garments. Cool karate pants are fit with matching shirts made of paper-thin kangaroo leather, while a brown flight jacket pays homage to both Japanese and Loewe style.
