The popular Korean fried chicken chain Bonchon has expanded its selection of side dishes to include the new Loaded Bulgogi Fries.
For those unfamiliar, bulgogi is a Korean dish that literally translates into "fire meat." Generally, the dish consists of thin, marinated slices of meat (often beef), grilled on a barbecue or on a stove-top griddle. Bonchon's new Loaded Bulgogi Fries puts a clever twist on this dish by pairing pieces of thinly sliced marinated steak with melted mozzarella cheese, green onions, and spicy mayo, all served over a bed of French fries. The result is somewhat kind a Korean take on poutine.
The new Loaded Bulgogi Fries dish can be found now at participating Bonchon locations nationwide for a limited time.
