illumi - A Dazzling World of Lights

'illumi - A Dazzling World of Lights' is an immersive light art experience that will open its doors in Mississauga, Ontario in September. The project was launched by the creators of celebrated events Cavalia and Odysséo and is the first of its kind in the Toronto area.

Described as the "largest lights and multimedia show in the world," the event invites guest to explore a spectacular journey of light, across a 600,000 square foot site. Guests will experience 13 whimsical universes on foot, including kaleidoscopic corridor The Tunnel of Love, The Crazy Boulevard, an homage to America's culture of excess, The Colourful Animal Kingdom, which pays tribute to the beauty of the Sahara Desert and more.

Featuring "high definition, state of the art animatronic creatures, 1000s of light structures and over 20 million bright LED bulbs," this immersive outdoor experience is ideal for lovers of art and theatre. The walk-through art installation is also a great family-friendly option for those looking to explore what the GTA has to offer this fall. Tickets for illumi can be reserved on the event's website.
