Leading the release is Llama Guard 4, now a multimodal safety filter capable of applying content moderation to both text and images.
Also new is LlamaFirewall, which coordinates multiple safety systems and integrates with Meta’s broader security ecosystem. Meanwhile, Prompt Guard 2 sees performance upgrades to detect prompt injection and jailbreak attacks more effectively, with a lightweight 22M variant introduced to reduce latency and computational cost.
