Ascendia Launches Its LIVRESQ Companion with Google

Romanian edtech company Ascendia introduced LIVRESQ Companion, an AI-powered teaching assistant integrated into its LIVRESQ digital education platform, following the company’s acceptance into the Google for Startups Scale Tier programme. The selection gives Ascendia access to Google AI technologies, enterprise cloud infrastructure and up to USD 200,000 in Google Cloud credits to support product development and international expansion.

The rollout follows Ascendia’s participation in the Google for Startups Growth Academy: AI for GovTech accelerator in 2025 and the launch of LIVRESQ Companion in April 2026. The company said its first contract for the AI assistant reached more than 10,000 teachers across 800 schools.

Ascendia said the Scale Tier programme will help accelerate AI feature development, improve operational efficiency and strengthen the scalability and security of its education technology platform. LIVRESQ is already used by thousands of content creators and institutions, and the company aims to expand its digital learning and public-sector education offerings across European markets.
