Racing Driver Car Tributes

This Limited Edition Bentley is Dedicated to Sir Tim Birkin

A limited edition Bentley is set to be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. The model is released in celebration of the auto manufacturer's 100th anniversary and its aesthetics, as well as performance specs, are inspired by race car driving.

For the exclusive Continental GT Number 9 Edition, the luxury car company draws inspiration from previous success. In the 1920s and 1930s, Sir Tim Birkin — who was driving a Bentley himself, won the Le Mans race. The manufacturer referenced the British racing driver's vehicle which was the No. 9 4.5-liter Blower Bentley.

The celebratory limited edition Bentley is characterized by a strong sense of luxury — from the Cumbrian Green or Beluga leather to the British Jaeger clock face. Although pricing details have not yet been released, the auto manufacturer will be producing just 100 models of the Continental GT Number 9.
