The Coolio is Made from Sustainable Materials

The Coolio, created by Everday Makia, is a lightweight cooler bag aimed at simplifying everyday adventurers. In Hawaiian, makai means "towards the sea," so Everyday Makai represents a lifestyle that revolves around going to the sea every day.

"I use my Coolio nearly every day for snacks for outings to the playground, for wine and seltzers for after-school happy hour, and for lunch and beers for the beach," says the founder of Everday Makia, Audrey. "It’s a perfect size cooler bag for an afternoon session. Wear it cross-body and hands-free for a hike down to a secret beach or a ride on your beach cruiser."

Everyday Makai is committed to using as many recycled and recyclable materials in the production of the Coolio. The cooler is crafted from a biodegradable PEVA liner, recycled felt insulation, ECONYL webbing, and Tyvek paper that is waterproof, durable, and recyclable at the end of its life. Everyday Makai is teaming up with Terracycle to make sure its bags don’t end up in the landfill and is offering a 5-Year Warranty for all Coolios purchased during the Kickstarter launch.
