Ngoc Lan Huynh, the designer of the T-Rex hydrogen-powered car, tried to merge a friendly commuter vehicle with a usable off road SUV. At first glance, this may seem to be a micro-car, but a closer look reveals that Huynh has made a large four-passenger van with loads of interior space. The roof is a solar panel to generate electricity.
"The T-Rex design is an amalgamation of the best features of an off-road SUV and a conventional van with lots of interior space. It is aimed towards people who enjoy adventures and outdoor play without sacrificing either on luxury or the environment."
Implications - Eco-friendly automobiles are becoming their own subdivision of the automotive industry.
