This Latest Collection from Converse Celebrates LGBT Pride and Equality

In honor of Pride Month and the SCOTUS’ ruling on marriage equality in the US, Converse has released a new shoe collection that celebrates LGBTQ pride and equality. Titled 'Proud To Be: The Converse Pride Collection,' the new line features everything from rainbow sneakers to prideful tees.

The Converse Pride Collection consists of 24 different items, which include shoelaces, tees and a rainbow pair of the brand's iconic high top sneakers. The collection is extremely vibrant and each color was specifically chosen based on its meaning within the LGBT community. Aimed at celebrating LGBT pride and equality, the collection includes the mantra, "each step we take brings us closer to universal tolerance and equality."

While Pride Month may be over, it is encouraging to see brands continuing to show their continued support for the LGBT community.
