Shoplifting Slim-Screen Adverts

The LG 'Smart Thief' Video is Surveillance-Cam Captured Promotion

Tapes of shoplifters caught on candid cameras are commonly used as evidence for arrests, and if that were the case here the LG ‘Smart Thief’ surveillance reel would earn a charge for public display of clever advertising.

The black and white short that appears to be undercover security footage and features a suspicious man making sneaky backwards strides while staring down the apparently conspicuous cam. It’s a riveting sneak-peek that makes you wonder what the voyeuristic vid is going to reveal, but it’s not until the man exits the store carrying a super skinny-screened TV that the reason for his elusiveness becomes evident.

The LG ‘Smart Thief’ stunt is a pretty brilliant product demo that boldly backs up the companies claims of producing the ‘World’s Slimmest Television’. You may consider purchasing the thin television now for it’s steal-worthy specs, or at the very least, hit replay on their viral advertising video.
