Levi’s Vintage Clothing has released a replica of a denim tuxedo that was originally created for Bing Crosby in the 50s. Bing asked for Levi's to design the fancy denim getup after he was denied entrance into a Canadian Hotel for wearing jeans -- which is slightly odd considering the country is known for "Canadian tuxedos."
The original tuxedo jacket was decorated with a corsage of Red Tabs. It also had a large leather patch on the inside printed with a "Notice to All Hotel Men" statement to ensure Bing never got denied from a hotel again.
Levi’s Vintage Clothing Spring/Summer 2014 is incorporating a reproduction of the iconic jacket, but is only making 200 pieces. Even if you aren't a Bing Crosby fan, this jacket is right on trend.
