The Levi's Amsterdam by Camo Park Uses Salvaged Items to Design S

The Levi’s Amsterdam by Camo Park is a new falgship store in the heart of Europe’s "sin city". The classic American clothing company commisioned Camo Park, an Amsterdam based design firm, to redesign the store to represent the brand and its global appeal.

The new flagship clothing store by Levi’s in Amsterdam was no easy task to complete. The designers at Camo Park failed many times to complete a design that satisfied the company. To stay on budget and accurately depict Levi’s as a brand, the designers used second-hand materials like wood flooring and lighting from trade show booths. The re-purposing of these materials, along with other slavaged items likes bicycles and old furniture were essential in the construction, design and aesthetic of the store.

The use of the salvaged items and second-hand materials reflects Levi’s clothing as rugged and sturdy, as well as adding a rustic feel to the store.
