A school project between a father and his four-year-old son, the LEGO Star Wars Clock is a futuristic masterpiece. Inspired by the ever-popular George Lucas film, it may look slightly childish with its minifig LEGO characters and rough surface, but upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that it is much more sophisticated than that.
Posted by Instructables user YOUgNeek, the LEGO Star Wars Clock is made out of a handmade clay dish that has been imprinted with classic white LEGO blocks to give the surface some texture. They were then fixed to the clay to provide an interchangeable dock for the minifigs. A stencil was used to create the Death Star pattern.
