Uber nerd alert! Thanks to someone called Anders and his "build your own LEGO Scanner," we see that some people clearly don't believe that life is too short.

On his website, you can find the instructions, complete with programming and DIY directions, to make this work of art/DIY technology project. Why you would want to do so is beyond me, but it is pretty darn cool I guess.


Implications - The scanned images can be saved in either gray scale, 8-bit color or the full 24-bit color. The scannet's small menu has a an LC screen which lets owners set the priorities for the scan based on individual preferences. The images can be saved as a BMP file in the NXT's flash memory.
