This LEGO Hyperion Battlecruiser Recreates StarCraft 2 Vehicle

No matter how old you are, you will always find inventive ways to play with LEGO blocks, and Sven Junga has done just that with his meticulous LEGO Hyperion battlecruiser model.

An accurate replica of the top tier unit from StarCraft 2, the LEGO Hyperion battlecruiser took a grand total of 15,000 pieces to make, is 16 studs long and required 6 months of effort to assemble. Fans of the real-time strategy game will no doubt agree that it was a worthwhile endeavor.

Junga chose to replicate the Hyperion specifically as it was featured in the campaign missions of the Blizzard produced game and piloted by members of the Raynor’s Raiders crew. Whether it’s made up of pixels or toy blocks, no one can deny how intimidating the Hyperion battlecruiser looks.
