Belting Bricked Singers

LEGO Freddie Mercury Pays Homage to the Iconic Musician

One of the best homages that I've seen for Queen's late vocalist is this LEGO Freddie Mercury, created by the talented Ochre Jelly.

November 24th is the day that Mercury died due to complications from AIDS. In honor of one of rocks greatest vocalists, Ochre decided to pay tribute by immortalizing him in bricked form. The LEGO Freddie Mercury is a very accurate piece of the frontman that clearly shows the dedication involved in building it. The figure displays Mercury in his iconic yellow regal yellow jacket holding his scepter-like microphone stand singing passionately into the mic.

The LEGO Freddie Mercury is an incredible tribute to the classic rock vocalist. Hopefully more LEGO rock stars will follow.
