LED lightbulbs will soon be taking over households completely as they provide everything ordinary lightbulbs do and more. The Philips Clear LED lightbulb is the epitome of this shift and it even uses the look of the older filament lightbulbs.
LED lightbulbs are amazing but they're not flawless. The main flaw that many find with them is their design; they don't look like the average lightbulbs. Well that issue is a non-factor now that Philips has released a bulb that looks like the older ones completely, except for a few small changes.
This particular LED lightbulb uses clear glass where its counterparts are often opaque. This lets users see exactly what's going on in their lighting. The bulb is also much more efficient and a far better energy saver as well so there are no longer any major cons to the bulbs.
