These Ads Shows the Struggles Many Face in Learning to Speak English

A series of ads was created by agency 'Y&R Shanghai' for 'Web International English' in China to depict its courses that assist those who are learning to speak English.

Each of the ads depicts a different problem with pronunciation many encounter when tackling the difficult language, with Y&R Shanghai replacing the troublesome word with an illustration so that this is understood. The ads are simplistic and to the point, highlighting a problem in a humorous way while also showing the goal Web International English has in correcting it.

In doing this, the company shows that its courses can benefit people learning to speak English and prevents them from making possibly embarrassing speech errors. Beneath the short phrases and images are descriptions of the problem that's highlighted, the words "Speak English Like A Native" and the Web International English logo.
