At the New York Toy Fair, smarTrike is introducing a modern way for kids to learn to ride a bike with Xtend Mg+ , a first-of-its-kind bike for ages three to seven. The extendable frame, balance-to-pedal bike helps to address the fact that parents find themselves quickly replacing one product with another as their child physically grows and their capabilities advance.
The Xtend Mg+ is designed to support kids as they develop the ability to ride a bike independently. The lightweight frame supports minimal exertion during the learning and riding process, and plenty of adjustments can be made to the seat, handlebar and frame as needed.
While a child's first stage of interacting with the Xtend Mg+ introduces the concept of balance, the second phase introduces pedaling forward rather than pushing to encourage motion.
