The Duolingo ABC App Teaches Kids Ages Three to Six to Learn to Read

Duolingo is introducing a brand-new app called Duolingo ABC that's centered on helping young children learn to read. The reading app for kids ages three to six is full of hundreds of lessons that impart fundamental reading and writing skills in a way that's fun and approachable.

The kid-safe, ad-free app was created by literacy and early education experts so that kids will be able to take away lessons in phonics, sight words, reading comprehension and much more. With the app, kids can participate in a variety of gamified lessons, interactive stories and tracing activities. The reading and writing app also includes an offline learning mode that's useful for travel and other scenarios where Wi-Fi may be limited.
