Flipped Page Furniture

Hyunsoo Choi's Leaf Stool and Bar Chair Looks Like It's a Page from a Book

Although I'm sure the Leaf stool and bar chair was named after an actual leaf, to me it looks like a page in a book that is just about to be flipped. Considering that the word "leaf" can also apply to paper, perhaps I'm not so far off the mark with that comparison.

Created by Korean designer Hyunsoo Choi, the Leaf stool and bar chair features a simple design with a very organic aesthetic. Elegant and chic, it really brings a sense of nature inside one's living space. Since it looks like a typical piece of furniture minus its subtle, arching backrest, that is definitely a feat to be acknowledged.

I especially like how each stool and bar chair is available in soft, pastel colors in addition to plain wood finishes.
