This month, Champagne Lanson visited TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes to introduce two new vintage Champagnes -- Le Vintage 2012 and Blanc de Blanc Noble Champagne 2004.
Le Vintage 2012 serves to celebrate the company's tenth anniversary. What makes it stand out is the complexity and intensity of its aroma and flavors. For example, it features scents of acacia honey and sweet spices, along with notes of candied fruit, dried apricots, and almonds. Le Vintage 2012 will be sold through travel retail and in wine shops and restaurants. However, the Noble Champagne will only be available in a few key markets, with a limited number of bottles being sold through travel retail.
"We are still in extremely challenging times, and the rising cost of living may have an impact. However, at the moment, it seems that Champagne is still very much in favor with traveling customers, and long may that last," said Edouard De Boissieu, the head of Travel Retail at Champagne Lanson.
