The Lava Mae Project Promotes Homelessness Awareness with Toilets

The subject of homelessness has never been brought to attention more distinctively than with the Lava Mae project.

With the help of various artists,, the Lava Mae project has commissioned talented souls to turn toilets for their playful project. Exhibiting a line of holy thrones that have been totally transformed, these tasteful toilets made a long line along Market Street, San Francisco on World Toilet Day. The purpose was to promote the retrofitted MUNI bus that will be rolling out early 2014 and benefiting homeless people by bringing them showers and toilets.

The Lava Mae project is just one quirky step in the right direction for a common good that deserves all our attention.
