When I look at these Laurie Simmons creations, I can’t seem to quell the childish response, "I want, I want I want!" I truly believe that if my parents had given me just one of these dolls, I would not only have been the happiest child alive, I probably would have grown up to be the neighborhood fashionista.
Whatever I feel now, however, probably doesn’t compare at all to what Peter Jensen felt when he saw the unique work of Laurie Simmons. I mean, he actually went out of his way to miniaturize his Sindy collection and commission Laurie Simmons to create what you see before you. Take a look and appreciate the work of two masters.
