The world’s largest balloon sculpture could have been a lot of different things, an elephant, a tank, Kanye West’s ultra inflated ego. It turns out it is none of these things; the world’s largest balloon sculpture is Poptimus Prime, an Optimus Prime look-alike.
John Reid, better known as Epic Balloons showed off his gigantic creation at Salt lake Comic Con recently to critical acclaim. The balloon sculpture is so big that its seen holding on to him with its gargantuan hands in the photo. At full height with its hands up it wouldn’t be far off to say that it’s easily five to six times John’s height.
The sculpture is made up of 4,302 balloons and took almost two full days to complete, making this the biggest and most complete balloon sculpture ever made.
