The Lambert 'Redefined' Collection is Made with VEGEA

The Lambert 'Redefined' handbag collection aims to disrupt the vegan leather market. The Montreal-based accessory brand specializes in stylish and cruelty-free vegan leather handbags and is committing to even more sustainable practices with the introduction of a new plant-based leather alternative.

Based on over a year of research and development, Lambert's Redefined collection consists of four new eco-friendly bags that embody understated elegance. Each is made from VEGEA, an Italian-crafted material that consists of "vegetable-based renewable and recycled raw materials including grape residues from the winemaking process plus vegetable oils and natural fibers."

While some vegan leathers can actually be full of harmful polyurethane, VEGEA is a next generation sustainable alternative. The four-piece Redefined collection includes the vintage-themed Siena handbag, the portable Emilia shoulder bag, the Cecina mini crossbody, and the Enna wallet, each featuring a black faux leather look and silver hardware.

"It’s been a dream of mine for some time to offer our customers a collection made from plant-based materials. I’m extremely proud to launch Redefined, our new line of innovative and ecological handbags that I’m sure will please our customers," said the brand's founder Mélissa Lambert about the new launch.
