Lady Mane by Rhiannon Schneiderman is Hilariously Exaggerated

The Lady Mane photo series will have stitches in people's sides in no time. Although it isn't necessarily meant to be a comic routine photo reel, it certainly looks like something that would inspire a character on Saturday Night Live. In reality, the Lady Mane photo series is meant as an empowering project that deals with society's ideals when it comes to the beauty of women.

Shot by photographer Rhiannon Schneiderman, who is the subject, the Lady Mane photo series is a tongue-and-cheek spin on fashion editorials. Posing just like a top model would, the only difference here is that Schneiderman sports a some radical bushes that range from ong wispy ponytails to four foot hair braids and jheri curls. She reveals, "That’s what the series was about for me: empowerment."
