I don't really know what to make of the recently announced Lady Gaga Farmville collaboration. The reigning queen of pop music has announced that she will release tracks of her new album on the uber-popular Zynga game Farmville.
From May 17th to May 19th players will be able to explore "Gagaville" a unique area in Farmville that is Lady Gaga-themed. Apparently the area will be filled with unicorns, diamonds and of course lambs riding on motorcycles. Players completing tasks in Gagaville will have access to tracks before anyone else.
I can't decide if this is a marketing masterstroke or if it is just Lady Gaga's way of acting out (think meat dress). Still, Farmville is extremely popular, and I wouldn't be surprised if some Gaga naysayers who played the game became converted.
