French Manufacturer LaCie unveiled the LaCie Sphere USB drive at the CES 2014 showcase.
The drive contains the high-speed USB 3.0, which makes file transfers and backups nearly three times faster than with the USB 2.0. It also comes with 1 TB of storage, enough space for years of backups, or an extensive photo library, music library or video library. The LaCie Sphere is powered through the USB cable, making a power cord unnecessary.
Along with these great technological features, the LaCie Sphere is hand-made and sculpted into a beautiful spherical base that will look elegant on any desk. Molded out of silver by silversmiths from manufacturer Christofle, the LaCie Sphere is a stylish luxury item with everyday practicality and applications, and very unique looking USB drive.
