Semi-Spectacle Magnifiers

La Lunette Magnifying Glass is an Iconic Monocle for Print Deciphering

For anyone who has just a bit of difficulty reading small print, the La Lunette Magnifying Glass is a stylish desktop accessory. If you don't quite require a prescription to improve your vision, this dapper doodad is ideal for deciphering tiny text whenever you come across it.

Designed by Maison Martin Margiela for Luminaire, this product was inspired by a pair of vintage eyeglasses with glossy black frames. One half of the spectacles was emulated and a single arm was reoriented and fixed in place at a modified angle. The new arrangement makes it easy for the user to hold the La Lunette Magnifying Glass in one hand just above the small script that cannot be discerned with the naked eye.
