The Krizia Pre-Fall 2018 Line Recalls the 80s with Urban Elements

Head designer Antonio D'Anna and creative director Zhu Chongyun recall the 80s for inspiration in the newest Krizia Pre-Fall 2018 collection. The two manage to reference the past decade whilst still exuding a fresh, modern aesthetic. The pattern details that took the spotlight in this collection are the wild animal prints, including the zebra prints, leopard patterns and the "harlequin Great Dane." The animal prints make an appearance on the side of the knit dresses, belted jumpsuits and puffers.

The entire Krizia Pre-Fall 2018 collection has a very elegant, effortless and relaxed silhouette. Some of the leather suits were embroidered with details of bows and stripes. Another notable detailed element from the series is the shine component added by the use of metallic jacquard -- found on a pair of hot pants paired with a zipped-up sweater with an encrusted crystal collar.
