Jazz-Inspired Coat Collections

The Konsanszky Autumn/Winter 2014/2015 Collection Displays Movement

The Konsanszky Autumn/Winter 2014/2015 collection takes its visual inspiration from music and movement. When describing her line, the label's designer Dora Konsanszky accounts jazz as one of her primary inspirations for the upcoming winter season. The designer was drawn to "the looseness, the improvisation and the pursuit of self-expression" that jazz represents.

Jazz artist Christian Scott and 60s supermodel Veruschka von Lehndorff inspired me, who became a famous model in the '60s in New York. Veruschka also inspired the collection of structured coats, body-hugging dresses and leather-accented separates. Monochromatic and pastel hues come together in this catalog of leather, fur and wool garments that exude sophistication.

The label's designer Dora Konsanszky is based in Hungary and is a graduate of the Ecole Chambre Syndicale De La Couture Parisienne as well as the Moholy-Nagy University Of Art &Amp; Design in Budapest.
