The Konost FF is an M-mount camera launched by American start-up Konost, which is positioning this full frame digital camera as a potential competitor the likes of Leica.
This camera will offer digital range-finding capabilities by virtue of a secondary image sensor rather than just a traditional rangefinder mechanism. The image produced is calibrated to the position of the lens before being electronically displayed as a rangefinder focus patch within the optical viewfinder itself.
The camera will offer an ISO range of 100 to 6,400 and will include a maximum shutter speed of 1/4,000 second and a 4-inch rear LCD monitor.
The great thing about the Konost FF's innovative range-finding technology isn't merely the fact that it improves the quality of photographs taken, but it actually helps contribute towards reducing costs associated with manufacturing and maintenance.
