King of Spin VR Lets Players Face Shane Warne's Virtual Bowling

King of Spin VR is an Oculus Rift app that will allows players to go toe-to-toe with cricket legend Shane Warne in a virtual cricket arena. Warne earned the 'King of Spin' moniker after terrorizing batsmen around the world with his spin bowling wizardry; now, the app allows his fans to see if they can handle his deliveries.

The game will be unveiled at the ICC Cricket World Cup in February and will allow backyard and bedroom batsmen to face up to Warne's famous fizzing deliveries.

King of Spin VR will be available in mid-2015 for PC, Mac and gaming consoles. With an endorsement from a sporting legend such as Warne, it looks like Oculus Rift may well become the subject of more sport-related applications in the future.
