A school in a small village in Slovakia called Limbach has taken a minimalist approach in building kindergarten spaces.
Provided only with a small space of land, the school was challenged to build a large enough space that would comfortably fit 40 students, staff, storage solutions and play areas.
The architect drew inspiration from an appropriate source -- children's drawings. In the design, four staggered structures are built, all of which mirror a typical child's drawing of a house. The rather simple structure made it possible to house all the necessary resources, while also providing students with an impressive view of surrounding vineyards.
Keeping the students in mind, the windows are built low enough for all of the children to get a perfect view of the vineyards.
