Kilo Fashion Lets You Buy Clothes by the Kilo

Add clothing to the list of things that you can officially buy by the kilo. A new pop-up Italian fashion store aptly named Kilo Fashion lets its customers pay for their purchases based on weight.

Kilo Fashion is the genius idea of Italian fashion brand Lilla. The store sells all types of high fashion and segregates each item into low, medium and high costs and customers are capped at 10 items per purchase.

I love the idea behind Kilo Fashion. Things are commonly compared to the worth of their weight in salt and gold -- why not clothes? I could see a store like Kilo Fashion being a hit in America, provided it changed its name. Americans would be confused and angered at having to convert pounds to kilos -- I know it!
