Twitter Guides Participants in the ‘Key to Strong’ Challe

Schlage Locks has come up with the ingenious and exciting ‘Key to Strong’ challenge. This interactive publicity stunt started out by choosing one lucky Seattle resident, Joshua Paul, and locking him in a tiny house in the middle of the city’s downtown area. Armed with a Twitter account, ‘@LockedinaHouse,’ Joshua’s only hope of release was the citizens of Seattle.

Following clues left around the city and the Internet, along with some help from Joshua’s Twitter account, people journeyed around the city to find the key to the tiny house. The motivation for helping out this fellow Seattle resident? Glory -- and a $5,000 cash prize.

The Key to Strong challenge was a huge success, generating double-digit sales growth for the company and increasing site traffic immensely.
